Visit the Canadian National Canoe Museum, have afternoon tea at Hutchison House and back to our home to relax. Next you will go on the Liftlock Dinner Cruise. If it happens to be a Festival of Lights evening (Wed or Sat), the cruise will include a show and fireworks. The next morning have a great breakfast, then walk through our backyard to the Liftlock Visitor Centre to learn how it was built, you can then walk to the Peterborough Centennial Museum and Archives and see their displays.

STARRY STARRY NIGHT TOUR FOR TWO – Visit to the Buckhorn Observatory and see the stars with programs led by John Crossen and the Astronomy Association. Watch the sunset on the shores of one of the Kawartha Lakes, take an evening drive through the country and arrive at the Observatory just in time for the program that begins at dark. Bring your binoculars. Contingent on a clear night. Tour includes 2 nights, 2 breakfasts, dinner at a chef owned restaurant in downtown Peterborough and a donation to the Astronomy Association. FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS TOUR FOR TWO – Take the Water taxi from the lock by our home to the Boathouse at the foot of King Street, where you can walk to Elements Restaurant and have dinner, dessert and coffee (alcohol not included). After dinner walk to Crary Park where you will be treated to a Peterborough Summer Festival of Lights Concert. Watch the post-concert fireworks from the water taxi on Little Lake and be returned to the lock by our home. This tour is available for concerts Wednesdays and Saturdays, 24 June to 27 August. Tour includes one night stay, one breakfast for two, dinner for two and the show and water taxi.
