FISHING TOUR FOR TWO

Lake Katchewanooka has been described as the most under-fished lake in the Kawarthas. This 8 mile waterway has many weed beds, wild rice areas, islands and shoals. The Captain knows secret fishing holes that hide pickerel, bass and muskey. Fish from our 22 foot pontoon boat for comfort, safety and stability. Or fish from our dock, as much as you like. Bring your favourite rod, lures and a camera to record your catch. This package includes 2 night accommodation, 2 hearty breakfasts, 3 fishing trips on Lake Katchewanooka, 1 picnic lunch. $400/person single occupancy |

SCENIC BOAT TOUR FOR TWO

Arrive at Harbourne by the lake B&B in the afternoon. Relax, stroll around the property, enjoy the gardens, orchard and wooded trails. Dine at Cassis Bistro or Thirsty Loon (not included in package). DAY ONE: In the morning enjoy a gourmet breakfast and pack for a half day boat tour of Lake Katchewanooka in our 22 foot pontoon boat. Experience the sunken beach, only accessible by boat; have a swim or fish. We will take you up the lake to Young’s Point and dock at the Trent Severn Waterway locks so you can shop at Lockside Trading Company, largest country store in the Kawarthas, and perhaps a cold beverage on the patio at Old Bridge Inn. A leisurely return, try and spot the Osprey nests, visit with the resident swans, and look for beavers. In the afternoon, take a nap or explore the quaint village of Lakefield. Choose from among several dining establishments for dinner. DAY TWO: After a sumptuous breakfast enjoy a therapeutic massage at Sunshine Day Spa, a yoga class , or ride one of our mountain bikes along the scenic Trent Severn Waterway.
