Organized by Survivor's Abreast, our local survivor dragon boat team, this community race is held annually (usually first or second weekend in June) as a fundraiser for the Breast Assessment Centre (BAC) at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Annual Ode'min Giizis (Strawberry Moon) Festival O'Kaadenigan Wiingashk and Public Energy are planning the second annual Ode'min Giizis (Strawberry Moon) Festival, a celebration of multidisciplinary Indigenous artsin Peterborough. Programming includes a free outdoor concert with Buffy Saint Marie and a pow wow in Del Crary Park. Many other cultural events and exhibits will be presented at The Market Hall, The Gordon Best Theatre, Artspace, A.G.P., and various local venues throughout the week.
