We regret to say that Seldom Scene Retreat is now closed.

A message from the former owner:

I would like to take this oppoprtunity to thank my guests over the years for sharing this special place with me. I would also like to thank my web designer John Hetherington, from Precision Graphics for creating and updating my website with his expertese which I've had so many compliments on over the years.

For everyone that helped me create Seldom Scene, Marlis Lindsay owner of King Bethune Guest House, for her extremely helpful suggestions, George Elliott for his artwork for my logo and postcards, Dennis and Shirley from Denbar's Steak Chalet for giving my guests the preferred treatment, Festival Host, Pet Friendly, BBCanada, B&B Finder, Peterborough Tourism just to name a few.

This pocket of time at Seldom Scene will be fondly stored in my memory.
