RiverNorth Suites is a spacious, private, self-contained country home on the scenic River Road between the city of Peterborough and the village of Lakefield, a location that combines the beauty of rural living with the convenience of urban amenities just minutes away.

To the north and south, River Road winds for almost 10 kilometres along the scenic east bank of the Otonabee River. Following River Road from Peterborough, visitors pass Trent University and several locks of the Trent Severn Waterway, through a river ecosystem populated with the abundant wildlife native to the Kawarthas.

RiverNorth offers direct access from the property to the 18-kilometre Peterborough-Lakefield Trail, popular with cyclists, walkers, runners, cross-country skiers and bird watchers.

Malls, cinemas, larger food and box stores, live entertainment and theatre can be found in Peterborough, as well as weekly farmers' markets (Saturdays and Wednesdays).
